By accessing or using Tsuzuru (綴る)("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Tsuzuru is a personal finance tool designed to help individuals record and reflect on their financial habits using the Kakeibo methodology. Tsuzuru provides ledger tracking, budgeting, recurring bill reminders, pantry tracking, and optional AI-assisted receipt scanning.

3. Not Financial Advice

The calculations, financial health scores, budget suggestions, and summaries provided by Tsuzuru are for informational and self-reflection purposes only. Tsuzuru does not provide certified financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

4. User Accounts & Security

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.

5. Subscriptions, Trials & Access

• Free Forever Plan: New accounts automatically receive access to our Forever Free tier with essential tracking and starter AI quotas.
• Pro Plans: Enhanced access and higher AI limits are offered through fixed-duration plans (e.g. Trial, 1 month, 5 months, 12 months).
• No Automatic Renewal: We do not automatically charge recurring payments. Once a Pro plan ends, your account seamlessly returns to the Free tier without data loss.

6. Acceptable Use & AI Limits

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, disrupt, or overload the application infrastructure.
• Abuse the AI receipt scanning service with automated bots, excessive requests, or non-receipt payloads.
• Store or upload unlawful, abusive, or malicious content.

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that violate these fair use policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tsuzuru and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service periodically. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes occur. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
